Thank you for your kind words and blessings.
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. It is so tough to lose you mom, especially when she is an inspiration to you, your family and friends.
I appreciate you mentioning God and how He blesses those who take care of their parents. In the scriptures it says, (paraphrased) God sets a father in honor over his children; a mother’s authority he confirms over her sons.
Whoever honors his mother and father atones for sins, and preserves himself from them. When he prays, his is heard; he stores up riches who reveres his mother. Whoever honors his father is gladdened by children, and when he prays, he is heard.
Whoever reveres his father and mother will live a long life; he obeys his father who brings comfort to his mother. My son, take care of your father and mother when they are old; grieve them not as long as they live; Even if their minds fail, be considerate of them; revile them not all the days of their lives; kindness to a father and mother will not be forgotten, firmly planted against the debt of your sin-a house raised in justice to you.
This is one of the most comforting passages in the bible about taking care of parents. It provides a lot of peace and joy. Taking care of dying parents is one of the most difficult things a child will ever do in their lives but the rewards are truly amazing.
Thanks for your encouragement. I appreciate it.
