Grandpa Captain Biorhythm took his granddaughter Hannah to the San Diego Comic Con in 2007 to interview potential Heroes and Heroines. She was his third cub reporter who did a phenomenal job interviewing artists, actors and costumed characters at the Comic Convention.
Hannah asked 3 questions:

Who are the unsung Heroes in our society that do not get the recognition they deserve?
April was born into a family of entertainers. Her Father, Freddie Stewart, was a well known Jazz singer and actor who sang with The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, shared top billing with the likes of The Andrews Sisters, and led an ensemble cast starring as “Freddie Trimball” in a series of movies for Monogram Pictures in the mid 1940s. The movies focused around a group of teenagers appropriately dubbed “The TeenAgers”, and captivated audiences for a good part of the 40’s.
April grew up in a small mountain town called Truckee, California. There, she realized her love for theater while performing in productions with the little towns theater group called the “Truckee Actors Guild”.
Ironically, April has kept the theme of performing in small towns alive, given her current association with another small mountain town called South Park. April a.k.a. Gracie Lazar, provides approximately eighty percent of the female voices for the Emmy Award winning show including, Wendy Testaburger, Mrs. Cartman, Mrs. Marsh, Mrs. McCormick, Shelly Marsh, Mayor McDaniels, Principal Victoria, Mrs. Crabtree and various other female denizens.
April is known for her extensive work in the cartoon and game industry and can be heard as Maria in Nickelodeon’s brand new series, “El Tigre”, Ms. Marvel in the new “Marvel: Ultimate Alliance” video game, Pandora on Nickelodeons “Danny Phantom”, Cataclysma on Cartoon Network’s “Grim & Evil” , various voices on “Star Wars knights of the Old Republic”, and Queen Isabella on “Age of Empires” among others.
April’s first love remains live theater. Her theatrical training blossomed at the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts. Her theater credits include Trina in “Falsettos”, Florence in “Chess”, Little Red in “Into the Woods”, Portia the Stepsister in “Cinderella.” April often remarks that one of her favorite aspects of voice-over is that it allows her to indulge in her musical theater habit now and again!
